Ru’ach (breath, spirit) Meditation is a mindfulness practice focused in cultivating loving kindness and strengthening our ability to Trust our compass. Using playfulness, breathing practices, and spiritual philosophy, students will leave bursting with curiosity and wonder for their personal journeys in the world. Each class combines half hour of mediation, with a half hour of tea and discussion. Come one come all as we deep dive into the river of life and learn to float! And remember, as you ramble on through life, whatever be your goal, keep your eye upon the doughnut and not upon the hole.

Tepper Saffren is from Folsom, California and has spent time in Texas, West Virginia, and now New York cultivating a life of kindness, curiosity, and Trust. Tepper, born Joseph Tepper Saffren, has devoted his life to investigating the inner compass that connects us all and lives to encourage others to do the same.

"I’m modeling this class after a book I love called the Duties of the Heart. There are 10 different gates that are included in this book on how to cultivate an enlightened life, so I’m going to make each class a different gate. The 10 gates are:
Unity, Curiosity, Service, Trust, Discipline, Humility, Missing the Mark, Self Reflection, Balance, Love"

6:30: everyone settles in, some brief hellos and check in
6:40: 30 minute meditation
7:10: tea and discussion
