Plenty of Room Available
This morning yin class will focus on a more intimate and slow practice of yoga to give your body a space to breathe, stretch and connect.

Yin yoga is a unique type of yoga that focuses on two main things: 1.) holding postures for an extended period of time (from 3-5 minutes usually) & 2.) surrendering to the time and meditating while in the pose to connect to your body. Holding these special postures for an extended period of time helps to gradually stretch the connective tissues that exist within your bones, muscles, and joints. Regular practice lubricates the joints and releases muscle fascia within the body that might regularly feel tense (eg. shoulders, hip, low back, etc.) to allow the body to feel lighter and generally more open! This class aims to cultivate deep presence, surrender to flow, and full-body nourishment with complementary teachings from yogic philosophy while you hold postures. Key themes and teachings from a yoga therapy perspective will also be interweaved throughout the class to help your body feel deep ease, peace and love. This class is suitable for all people, especially those who are seeking a more meditative and slow practice.

You are encouraged to bring your own mat and props. Mats and props are also available for purchase.

We strongly recommend you register in advance, class size is limited.
Cancellation and no-show policies will be strictly enforced.
There will be no hands on adjustments at this time.
