This Class Already Happened
There is an upcoming session of this class.
This relaxing class will combine gentle movement, long stretches, and meditation to help promote a peaceful state.
Yin yoga is a unique type of yoga that focuses on two main things: 1.) holding postures for an extended period of time (from 3-5 minutes usually) & 2.) surrendering to the time and meditating while in the pose to connect to your body. Holding these special postures for an extended period of time helps to gradually stretch the connective tissues that exist within your bones, muscles, and joints. Regular practice lubricates the joints and releases muscle fascia within the body that might regularly feel tense (eg. shoulders, hip, low back, etc.) to allow the body to feel lighter and generally more open! This class aims to cultivate deep presence, surrender to flow, and full-body nourishment.
This class is suitable for all levels, including beginners and anyone working with injuries or mobility limitations.
Great for those who are seeking a more meditative and slow practice.
